1st quality and high standard fabric and perfect for all your kite making requirements. We always used the 65g Ripstop Nylon for our Highwaymen range of Single Line Kites. Suitable for a huge range of applications from kites, to inflateables, poin of sale displays, and even festival banners. Outstanding colours that work great with the sunshine beaming through!

1st quality, crisp, extremely light weight cloth at aproximately 140cm wide, suitable for high spec applications. Icarex is the choice of almost all the serious high performance sports kites, and with many years of astounding success Icarex is going to be used for many years to come.

Chikara Ripstop Nylon 41g/m²
1st quality, crisp, light weight cloth at aproximately 115cm wide, suitable for general purpose and high spec applications. Probably the most used material in kite building. Flexifoil have been using this cloth exclusivly ever since they first released the Blade Mk1. The fabric is made of nylon and double sided coated, so it is very good water repellent. It is very strong and doesn't tear easily at a relative low weight (about 41 grams). The fabric feels soft and the square structure is very visible (5 x 5 mm)

High quality epoxy resin pultruded Carbon Fibre

Carbon Fibre Tube in a range from 4 to 12mm outsite diameter, larger sizes available on request. Standard lengths 1m and 1.5m Our Carbon Fibre Tube comes in either a pultruded construction, pultruded is a stiff carbon that maintains a degree of flex.

The primary advantage of using carbon tubes for a project, vs. fiberglass or metal, is its high stiffness to weight ratio. Carbon fibre is stiff and very lightweight, making it ideal for rigid frame construction. There is a degree of flexibility to the carbon depending on diameter (small diameter has a lot more flex than large diameter tube)

Pultruded carbon tube, also known as graphite rods or unidirectional carbon fiber tube, are used in many industrial applications and aerospace designs, as well as in hobbies such as RC airplanes and RC sailboats, dual line kites and single line kites, and just about anywhere else you want a stiff, strong rod.

Cutting Carbon - We recommend the easiest and most cost effective way to cut carbon is with a fine tooth junior hacksaw... wrap the carbon with tape, and score the whole circumference with the blade before cutting all the way through. Also wearing eye protection and a dust mask for safety is a good idea!

Frenzy FYX 2011

The Ozone Frenzy 2011 has been through a complete redesign, incorporating new technologies from Ozone’s world leading paraglider designs.

The new Frenzy incorporates a partially closed leading edge with mesh openings for ultimate performance, clean air intake and extra strength. A newly developed diagonal rib configuration helps optimize bridle line layout; this has enabled us to achieve a 28% reduction in line drag and a more direct feel.

An increased number of cells (and reduced cell width) allow more control of the upper and lower surfaces. More cells also help reduce the amount of billowing (ballooning) of the cells, resulting in cleaner surfaces and better overall performance.

The "Link" line is a new addition this year to the Frenzy. This line connects both sides of the Speed System together to maintain the correct distance between both sides of the kite. This "Link" line therefore controls the tension transmitted through the kite which aids stability.

These improvements add to the performance of the kite in all aspects; faster smoother direct handling, more power produced throughout the speed range, better stability and more de-power than ever before.

The Frenzy is constructed from top quality materials and features a double pulley speed-system, utilising the latest high spec Ronstan Orbit Block Series 20 pulleys. Ozone have also added 3 unique “blow out valves” to the under surface to allow the internal volume of air to be released when the kite is crashed into the ground.

The Ozone Frenzy has been the good friend of many Snowkiters across the globe and since its debut six years ago the Frenzy has set the standard. Chasta has taken the Frenzy to three world titles and has pushed the boundaries of the sport with this kite further than most of us can imagine.

The Ozone Frenzy 2011 has a thinner profile to allow it to fly faster and extend the de-power range. The bridles have been minimized by removing the D lines, helping to reduce drag and increase performance and speed.

Ozone have also worked extensively on the handling resulting in lighter bar pressure and faster turning.

The new Ozone Frenzy bridles give the kite faster handling and more depower. The new look 2011 is still the All-Terrain Frenzy we know and love, just a little more refined and suited for the Intermediate to Expert kiter.

The new flying line Y system helps the handling and again reduces drag even further. There is also the addition of the X line which helps reduce the chance to bowtie the kite.

The new kite is still a low down grunt kite which produces power just by putting it in the air but it is smoother, faster and lighter to handle.

The Ozone Frenzy 2011 now comes with the technically advanced Ozone “Speed System” with a double pulley on each side that allows the angle of attack (D-Power) to be changed minutely which results in the smoothest progression from full power to full D-Power.

The Double Pulley speed system is designed to work in harmony with the bridle plan, sail tension and profile. The balance of the design is what makes the mid-aspect Ozone Frenxy 2011 such a solid performer with un-beatable stability, turning speed, low end power and impressive D-Power.
