Sleds and foils are nearly unbreakable and are either completely soft (frameless) or have the minimum of spars incorporated into their design. All are wind inflated and require little or no assembly. Born in 1964, Rainer Hoffman discovered his addiction to kite flying during 1986 in St Peter Ording. After building his first “regular” kites he quickly proceeded with his own unique designs. He finished 1st place several times during the German Championships since 1997 and already published his own assembly manuals. All kites of Rainer Hoffman truly convince through tremendous creativity and beautiful designs. | Frank Ludwig was born in 1958. He is a psychotherapist, ingeneous tinkerer,
kite philosopher and founder of the “Kite & Art” publishing house.
His creativity enriches the world of kite flying with many fantastic ideas

| | Lutz Treczoks was born in 1958 and has enjoyed kite flying since 1988. Very
soon there was no limit to his ambition to build his own kites. Over the
years Lutz Treczoks experimented with any kind of kites. Finally Lutz specialised
in building exceptional box kites and Cody kites. His models are fanciful
works of art that impress in all respects. Since 1998 Lutz Treczoks has been
a Greenpeace activist and has made use of his kites in many campaigns. |
